Domunder, Initiatief Domplein Utrecht (2015)

Beneath Utrecht's Domplein lies 2000 years of history. Armed with a flashlight, visitors descend into the darkness and end up in an underground world. As soon as they discover an object or building fragment with their light beam, the archaeologist tells them via an earpiece what they are looking at. While searching, they explore 20 centuries of history with their own hands. This experience reaches an overwhelming audiovisual climax at the storm of 1674, which forever determined the appearance of the Dom Church. An archeological experience for young and old that will really teach you something. And – bragging rights –which was also sold out for years after it opened, and has received scores of awards and nominations worldwide.
