In Waalwijk, the former mecca of the Dutch leather and shoe industry, shoe lovers can indulge themselves in the Schoenenkwartier. In addition to the latest sneakers and other fashion statements they can immerse themselves in the Waalwijk shoe past. From a traditional factory line to the manual work that hundreds of home workers in the old days. Based on input from the museum, I wrote the room texts and all (interactive) audio scripts.
